A New Approach to Wellbeing
We fund and organize structured cultural-immersion travel — with preparation before and community after — designed to build resilience, restore connection, and widen a person's sense of what's possible.
Discover Our ApproachIsolation, burnout, and hardship narrow a person's world — the same rooms, the same routines, the same thoughts. Stepping into an unfamiliar culture interrupts that pattern and makes room for perspective, connection, and possibility. Our journeys are designed to complement professional care, never to replace it.
"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes."
Our model is built around three connected phases, so that no one is simply handed a plane ticket. Participants are supported before they go, while they travel, and after they come home.
Practical preparation that builds confidence, cultural awareness, and readiness before departure, so the journey starts on solid ground.
Small-group journeys into an unfamiliar culture, designed so that participants are genuinely supported throughout and never travelling alone.
Structured follow-up and a continuing community, so what happens on the journey becomes lasting change at home rather than fading on the flight back.
Live Happy Foundation received its 501(c)(3) determination in November 2025 and is building toward its first cohort. We would rather tell you exactly where we are than imply we are further along.
We are recruiting mental health professionals to an advisory board that will shape how every journey is designed, so that our programs are safe, well supported, and complement professional care rather than replace it.
A growing body of research links novel experience, time in nature, and genuine social connection to improved wellbeing. That literature — not claims of our own — shapes how we design each journey.
We will measure what our programs actually do for the people who join them, and publish what we find, beginning with our very first cohort.
Preparation, journey, and return are designed as a single arc. No one is sent abroad and left to make sense of it alone afterwards.
